In Balestrand, beautifully located beside the Sognefjord, lies Kviknes Hotel. The Kvikne family have been the hosts here since 1877. The hotel was built in the “Swiss” style. There have been many new buildings, reconstructions and extensions since, but none of this has altered the special character of this place. At Kviknes Hotel, we place great emphasis on culinary experiences. Local ingredients are used as far as possible and the Sognefjord is an outstanding larder. Our wine list is the largest and most varied in the Sognefjord. We have spacious lounges where you can enjoy the art and the spectacular view.
